Following a complete restoration of 1962 Aeolian-Skinner Opus 1384 (2011), and subsequent work to add a 32’ Contra Bombarde and 16’ Subbass (2013), Quimby Pipe Organs has been engaged to add two new divisions to the three manual, 47 rank pipe organ in Samford University’s Reid Chapel: a Solo Division and a Percussion Division.

These new divisions will be added in existing closets on the second floor level, and new tone openings into the Chapel are being created in such a way that the existing functional pipe display of the Aeolian-Skinner will remain visually unaltered.
